Returns and Refunds Policy

Applies to all five Kentina Hospitality properties: Danza del Sol Winery, Masia de la Vinya Winery, Galway Downs, Native Falls, and Cross Creek Golf Club.

1. Overview

Kentina Hospitality is committed to guest satisfaction across all five of its properties. This policy describes the return, refund, and cancellation terms that apply to wine purchases, merchandise, lodging reservations, and event bookings. Terms vary by property and transaction type and are detailed below.

2. Wine Purchases

Danza del Sol Winery

Danza del Sol Winery: The following applies specifically to this property.

Danza del Sol Winery stands behind the quality of every bottle it produces. If you are dissatisfied with your order for any reason, contact us within 3 days of receipt for assistance.

Returns and refunds are handled as follows:

  • Corked, flawed, or defective wine: full replacement or refund including original shipping charges, upon return of the unfinished portion of the bottle
  • Weather-damaged wine: Danza del Sol Winery is not responsible for wine damaged by extreme weather conditions during transit. Once a carrier has taken possession of your order, risk of loss passes to the purchaser
  • Wine ordered in error: cannot be returned or refunded
  • Unclaimed will-call packages: refunds are not available for shipments not claimed within 60 days of notification. Unclaimed will-call returns to stock on the published schedule

By law, Danza del Sol Winery cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked or flawed.

Masia de la Vinya Winery

Masia de la Vinya Winery: The following applies specifically to this property.

Masia de la Vinya Winery is committed to producing high-quality wines. If a refund is necessary, contact us at info@masiadelavinya.com. Returns and refunds are handled as follows:

  • Corked or flawed wine: full replacement or refund including shipping and handling, upon return of the unfinished portion of the bottle
  • Weather-damaged wine: Masia de la Vinya Winery is not responsible for wine damaged by extreme temperature conditions during shipment. Risk of loss passes to the purchaser when the carrier takes possession
  • Order cancellation within 24 hours of confirmation: full refund, no penalty. Contact info@masiadelavinya.com promptly
  • Order cancellation after 24 hours (not yet shipped): 15% restocking and cancellation fee applies
  • Order refusal in transit: credited for the cost of the product minus all shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee

By law, Masia de la Vinya Winery cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked or flawed.

3. Wine Club Orders

Danza del Sol Winery & Masia de la Vinya Winery: The following applies specifically to this property.

Wine club shipments that have been processed and fulfilled are non-refundable, except where wine is confirmed to be corked or flawed upon receipt. Contact the applicable winery within 3 days of receipt if you believe your shipment contains a defective bottle.

Members who wish to cancel before a scheduled shipment is processed must do so at least 30 days in advance of the billing date. See the Wine Club Terms for full cancellation procedures.

Membership Hold (Danza del Sol Winery)

Danza del Sol Winery: The following applies specifically to this property.

Danza del Sol Winery members may place their account on hold for a maximum of two consecutive shipments rather than cancelling. A hold request must be submitted by the 20th of the month prior to the shipment being skipped.

All member benefits are paused during a hold period and resume automatically when the account becomes active. A hold does not count toward the four-shipment minimum commitment and cannot be used to avoid the minimum commitment or early cancellation fee.

4. Merchandise

Kentina Hospitality merchandise purchased in the tasting room or online from Danza del Sol Winery or Masia de la Vinya Winery may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase, provided the item is unused and in its original condition with proof of purchase.

  • Items damaged in shipping: contact us within 3 days of receipt with a photo of the damaged item and packaging
  • Custom or personalized items: non-returnable
  • Gift cards: non-returnable and non-refundable

5. Lodging Reservations

Galway Downs (Stay Kentina)

Galway Downs: The following applies specifically to this property.

In accordance with California Senate Bill 644, guests who book accommodations at Galway Downs have the right to cancel within 24 hours of booking confirmation for a full refund, provided the reservation was made at least 72 hours before the scheduled check-in time. Refunds for eligible cancellations are issued within 30 days.

Beyond the 24-hour statutory window, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • Cancellations made 15 or more days before arrival: full refund minus the booking fee (one night’s equivalent)
  • Cancellations made 8 to 14 days before arrival: 50% refund of rent and fees, minus the booking fee
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival or during a stay: no refund
  • One free reschedule is permitted if requested 15 or more days before the original arrival date. Any rate differences at the time of rescheduling will apply

Pending Confirmation: Galway Downs does not publish tiered cancellation terms on its current website. The terms above mirror the Native Falls published structure. Ken and Tina must confirm these are the correct Galway Downs cancellation terms before this policy is published.

Native Falls

Native Falls: The following applies specifically to this property.

6. Event and Venue Bookings

Private events, equestrian events, tasting room buyouts, and venue hire at all Kentina Hospitality properties are governed by separate written event agreements. Refund and cancellation terms for events are stated in the applicable agreement and will vary based on the property, event type, deposit amount, and lead time.

General terms that apply where no separate agreement supersedes:

  • Deposits for private events are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the executed event agreement
  • Cancellations made more than 90 days before the event date may be eligible for deposit credit toward a rescheduled event at the same property
  • Cancellations made within 90 days of the event date: deposit is forfeited
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date: full contracted minimum may be charged

7. Cross Creek Golf Club

Cross Creek Golf Club: The following applies specifically to this property.

Tee time cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. Same-day cancellations and no-shows may be charged the full tee time rate. Golf event and tournament bookings are subject to the cancellation terms stated in the applicable event agreement.

8. Force Majeure

Kentina Hospitality is not liable for cancellations, service interruptions, or refund limitations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government-mandated closures, public health emergencies, fire, extreme weather affecting Temecula Valley, or acts of God. In such cases, we will work with guests and customers in good faith to reschedule or provide credit as circumstances permit.
