1. Overview
Kentina Hospitality and its affiliated properties use cookies and other tracking technologies on our websites to support website functionality, analyze traffic, measure marketing performance, and, where applicable, serve interest-based advertising. This Cookie and Tracking Disclosure explains what these technologies are, how we use them, and the choices available to you.
This disclosure supplements our Privacy Policy and should be read alongside it. Both are available at kentinahospitality.com.
We comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and applicable CPPA enforcement guidance, including Enforcement Advisory No. 2024-02 regarding symmetrical consent choices and the 2026 update clarifying that closing or navigating away from a consent banner does not constitute consent.
2. What Are Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your browser, remember your preferences, and collect information about how you interact with the site.
In addition to cookies, our websites may use:
- Tracking pixels: small invisible images embedded in web pages or emails that signal when content has been viewed
- Web beacons: similar to pixels, used to track page visits and email opens
- Session storage and local storage: browser-based storage used to maintain temporary session data
- Third-party scripts: code from analytics, advertising, and social media platforms that may set their own cookies or collect data when loaded on our pages
3. Cookie Categories
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for our websites to function. They enable core features such as page navigation, booking and reservation functionality, secure checkout, and account login. These cookies cannot be disabled without impairing website function.
- Examples: session cookies, CSRF security tokens, shopping cart cookies, booking engine session management
- Retention: session duration or up to 24 hours
Functional Cookies
These cookies remember your preferences and choices to provide a more personalized experience. They are not strictly necessary but improve usability.
- Examples: language preference, age gate confirmation, remembered booking preferences
- Retention: up to 12 months
Analytics and Performance Cookies
These cookies collect information about how visitors use our websites, including which pages are visited most often, how visitors arrive at our sites, and where visitors exit. This data helps us improve website performance and content. Analytics data is aggregated and does not directly identify individual visitors.
- Providers may include: Google Analytics, Meta Pixel (analytics function), and similar platforms
- Retention: up to 24 months depending on provider
Marketing and Advertising Cookies
These cookies track your activity across our websites and, in some cases, across third-party websites, to deliver advertising relevant to your interests. They are set by advertising partners and social media platforms. Data collected may be shared with those platforms for targeting purposes.
- Providers may include: Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, Pinterest, and similar advertising platforms
- Retention: varies by platform, typically 30 to 180 days
Important: Under California CPRA, data shared with advertising platforms through marketing cookies may constitute “selling” or “sharing” personal information. California residents have the right to opt out. See Section 5 for your opt-out options.
Social Media Cookies
Our websites may include social media plugins, share buttons, or embedded content from platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest. These platforms may set their own cookies when their content is loaded on our pages. We do not control the cookies or tracking practices of third-party social media platforms.
4. Third-Party Tracking and Advertising
Our websites may integrate with the following categories of third-party tools that collect data through cookies, pixels, or scripts:
- Analytics providers: measure website traffic, user behavior, and conversion performance
- Advertising networks: serve targeted ads on third-party websites based on your browsing behavior
- Social media platforms: support social sharing, audience building, and retargeting campaigns
- Booking and reservation platforms: manage lodging, tee time, and event booking functionality
- Email marketing platforms: track email opens and link clicks
- Wine club and e-commerce platforms: manage wine orders, club memberships, and payment processing for Danza del Sol Winery and Masia de la Vinya Winery
Each third-party provider operates under its own privacy and cookie policy. We encourage you to review those policies directly. Links to key third-party privacy policies are available in our Privacy Policy.
5. Your Cookie Choices and Opt-Out Rights
Cookie Preference Center
When you first visit any Kentina Hospitality website, a cookie consent banner will be displayed. You may accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences by category. Your choice will be remembered for future visits. You may update your preferences at any time by clicking the “Manage Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of any page.
Important: Under 2026 CPPA enforcement guidance, closing or navigating away from a cookie consent banner without making an affirmative choice does not constitute acceptance. Our banner requires an explicit action. Opt-out and opt-in buttons are presented with equal prominence.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information, including data collected through marketing and advertising cookies. To exercise this right:
- Click the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer of any Kentina Hospitality website
- Contact us at info@kentinahospitality.com
- Use a browser or extension that sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We honor GPC signals from California visitors
We will process opt-out requests and provide confirmation within 15 business days, and no later than 45 days, of receipt.
Browser-Level Controls
Most browsers allow you to manage or block cookies through browser settings. Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers are available from the browser provider directly. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will impair website functionality including reservation and checkout tools.
Opt-Out of Analytics
To opt out of Google Analytics tracking specifically, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

To opt out of interest-based advertising from participating advertising networks, you may visit:

These opt-out tools are managed by industry organizations and are separate from Kentina Hospitality’s own consent management.

The Danza del Sol Winery (danzadelsolwinery.com) and Masia de la Vinya Winery (masiadelavinya.com) websites require visitors to confirm they are of legal drinking age before accessing the site.
