SMS Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms apply to all Kentina Hospitality SMS programs across all five properties: Danza del Sol Winery, Masia de la Vinya Winery, Galway Downs, Native Falls, and Cross Creek Golf Club.

1. Overview

Kentina Hospitality and its affiliated properties (collectively “Kentina Hospitality,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operate SMS messaging programs to communicate with guests, members, and customers. These SMS Terms and Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern all text message communications sent by or on behalf of Kentina Hospitality, including programs operated under the Galway Downs, Native Falls, Cross Creek Golf Club, Danza del Sol Winery, and Masia de la Vinya Winery brands.

By opting into any Kentina Hospitality SMS program, you agree to these SMS Terms. These SMS Terms are incorporated into and should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, both available at kentinahospitality.com.

2. Active SMS Programs

Kentina Hospitality currently operates the following SMS messaging programs:

Program 1: Kentina Hospitality Transactional SMS

  • Operated by: Kentina Hospitality (all properties)
  • Program type: Transactional
  • Message types: Reservation confirmations, booking reminders, check-in instructions, service updates, and account notifications for Galway Downs, Native Falls, and Cross Creek Golf Club
  • Message frequency: Varies based on reservation activity. Most guests receive 2 to 5 messages per booking
  • Sender: Kentina Hospitality
  • Opt-in method: Checkbox on booking and reservation forms

Program 2: Kentina Hospitality Marketing SMS

  • Operated by: Kentina Hospitality (all properties)
  • Program type: Marketing and promotional
  • Message types: Seasonal promotions, property announcements, event invitations, and special offers across all five Kentina Hospitality properties
  • Message frequency: No more than 4 messages per month
  • Sender: Kentina Hospitality
  • Opt-in method: Separate marketing opt-in checkbox on booking confirmation pages and newsletter signup forms

Program 3: Tasting Room and Winery Transactional SMS

  • Operated by: Danza del Sol Winery and Masia de la Vinya Winery
  • Program type: Transactional
  • Message types: Tasting room reservation confirmations, event reminders, and service notifications specific to winery visits
  • Message frequency: Varies based on reservation activity. Most guests receive 1 to 3 messages per visit booking
  • Sender: Danza del Sol Winery or Masia de la Vinya Winery (identified by name in each message)
  • Opt-in method: Checkbox on tasting room reservation and winery event booking forms

Future Program: Wine Club and Alcohol-Related Promotional SMS (Not Yet Active): Danza del Sol Winery and Masia de la Vinya Winery do not currently send wine club shipment notifications or alcohol-related promotional SMS messages. When this program launches, it will require a separate opt-in, will be governed by its own dedicated SMS terms, and will comply with all applicable TCPA, CTIA, and California ABC requirements. Members will be notified before enrollment and no alcohol-related SMS will be sent without affirmative consent.

3. How to Opt In

You may opt into any Kentina Hospitality SMS program by:

  • Checking the applicable SMS consent checkbox on any Kentina Hospitality booking, reservation, contact, or checkout form
  • Completing a wine club enrollment form at Danza del Sol Winery or Masia de la Vinya Winery (transactional winery SMS only)
  • Submitting a written opt-in at any Kentina Hospitality property

Consent to receive SMS messages is never pre-checked and is never a condition of purchase, reservation, or service. Separate opt-ins are required for transactional and marketing SMS programs.

Where required by carrier guidelines, a double opt-in confirmation may be sent to verify your number before messages begin.

4. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of any Kentina Hospitality SMS program at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any SMS message from that program
  • Contacting us directly at info@kentinahospitality.com or (951) 514-3120
  • For winery-specific programs: contacting the applicable winery directly (contact details in Section 10)

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent from that program unless you opt back in. Opting out of one program does not automatically opt you out of other Kentina Hospitality SMS programs.

6. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply to all SMS messages sent by or received from Kentina Hospitality, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Kentina Hospitality is not responsible for any charges applied by your wireless carrier in connection with SMS messages.

Contact your wireless carrier for information about your messaging plan and applicable rates.

7. Carrier Liability

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered SMS messages. Message delivery is subject to your carrier’s network coverage and availability. Kentina Hospitality is not responsible for messages that are delayed, undelivered, or blocked by your carrier.

8. Supported Carriers

Kentina Hospitality SMS programs are supported by all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and regional carriers participating in the A2P 10DLC messaging ecosystem. Not all carriers support every message type or short code format. If you are not receiving expected messages, contact your carrier to ensure SMS from business senders is not blocked on your account.

9. Compliance

All Kentina Hospitality SMS programs are operated in compliance with:

  • The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
  • A2P 10DLC registration requirements for application-to-person business messaging
  • CTIA Short Code Monitoring Handbook and messaging best practices
  • CAN-SPAM Act, where applicable to electronic communications
  • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA)
  • Applicable state privacy laws

Alcohol-related SMS programs for Danza del Sol Winery and Masia de la Vinya Winery, when activated, will additionally comply with California ABC marketing regulations and applicable federal TTB guidelines governing alcohol advertising.

10. Privacy and Data Use

Mobile phone numbers collected through Kentina Hospitality SMS opt-in processes are governed by our Privacy Policy, available at kentinahospitality.com. Key commitments:

  • Your mobile number will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes
  • Mobile numbers may be shared with SMS platform providers, messaging aggregators, and CRM systems necessary to deliver communications
  • Age verification data collected in connection with wine club or winery SMS programs will be retained as required by California ABC regulations and will not be used for marketing purposes
  • You may request deletion of your mobile number from our SMS records at any time, subject to applicable legal retention requirements

11. Modifications to SMS Terms

Kentina Hospitality reserves the right to modify these SMS Terms at any time. Updates will be reflected by revising the Last Updated date at the top of this page. Material changes to active SMS programs will be communicated to enrolled subscribers before taking effect. Continued participation in any SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.
